Such failure made impossible the obtaining of the previously installed version of win-agent. For the use case <tt>update from 2.0 on 2.1</tt>, this means lack of connection between agent and site, i.e. stop of the monitoring. Since this release, the uninstaller custom action supports also Powershell 4.0 thus solving the problem.

Alternatively, the service would be OK although the host was not checked. Now, the service for the unreachable host will fail consistently (CRIT) with the error: "Host has no IP address configured".

This is done to ease the installation process. The <i>Check_MK Agent</tt> service will issue a warning until the connections is secured by TLS, or the service is explicitly configured to ignore the unencrypted connection.
