Only one RRD file per service will be created. This save IO operations and bandwidth. Existing sites are not affected. You can switch to single RRDs by creating rules in Configuration of RRD databases of hosts and Configuration of RRD databases of services for that purpose. After that run <tt>cmk --convert-rrds</tt> for migrating existing RRDs.

That way you can e.g. create a graph for showing HTTP response times from three different servers in one graph. The new custom graphs can be added to reports, graph collections and dashboards. There are several paths to the graph designer: LI:Click on the context menu of an existing graph and select Add all metrics of this graph to: new custom graph LI:Go to a host or service detail, there to Service Metrics, use the small icon of one metric and select Add this metric to custom graph... LI:Press EDIT in the Views, Bookmarks or Reports-Snapin and click the new button Custom Graphs at the top

This was not very beautiful. Now all numeric columns get a minimum width und thus the layout will be the same for all groups.

Now you can put an image into the normal flow of elements. This allows you e.g. to embedd data from a third party application by creating some automated export into an image and placing that image under <tt>/omd/sites/mysite/local/share/check_mk/reporting/images/</tt>.

Check_MK Werk 8389: Zooming/panning graphs pauses page updates now

ID: 8389 Title: Zooming/panning graphs pauses page updates now Component: metrics Level: 2 Class: Bug fix Version: 1.4.0i1 To prevent issues with the graphs during view / dashlet data updates the updates are paused for 60 seconds. If you don't modify the graph in this time, the whole page will be reloaded and the graph is reset to it's original time and vertical scaling. The paused update is visualized with a large pause overlay on the top/right of the screen. This overlay shows a countdown of seconds left until the page update is continued by reloading the whole page.
