Furthermore, when being called directly from the command line without any options, the plugin incorrectly reported `Unhandled location` and terminated, even if it was located under <tt>..check_mk_agent/plugins/</tt>.

These filters depend on contact groups configuration which led to incomplete HW/SW inventory history entries for other users. Now the delta tree filters are applied after the delta tree computation.

If the output was empty it would use ss. The sequence of commands is now changed because netstat is depracated and truncates IPv6 addresses.

This Werk completes Werk 13978 and also fixes a bug that was introduced with it. After Werk 13978, all attributes except for 'meta_data' were omitted from the output in 'effective_attributes'. The is no longer the case.

Affected are all distributed setups with remote sites running Checkmk version 2.1.0p27 and a central site older than that. In these setups the service discovery page was broken for all hosts on those remote sites. The displayed error message was "<i>() takes 8 positional arguments but 9 where given</i>". The bulk discovery is not affected. Affected users can either upgrade their entire distributed environment to 2.1.0p27, or upgrade the remote sites from p27 to p28.
