It has never been configurable via WATO. The configuration variable 'agent_min_version' does not have any effect anymore. Setting the variable to an integer other than 0 (the default) lead to a crash, setting it to a string lead to unreliable behaviour. If you want to check the version of the installed agent, please configure a rule in the ruleset "Checkmk Agent".

It is only incompatible for users that configured rules using the rule "Checkmk agent plugins", which was only present in Checkmk version 2.1.0b1. That rule is deprecated and must be reconfigured accordingly. No further action must be taken. The service "Check_MK Agent" now includes the monitoring of deployed agent plugins and local checks. You can configure expected versions using the ruleset "Checkmk Agent". Since the service no longer exclusively deals with information regarding the agent update, the service check command is changed from <tt>check_mk-check_mk_agent_update</tt> to <tt>check_mk-checkmk_agent</tt>.

This can happen for example due to bugs in IPMI firmwares related to SDR caching. With this werk, the corresponding services go stale instead of a crash.

Such processes result in crashes such as "ValueError (invalid literal for int() with base 10: '...')" The Linux ps check now handles such processes correctly. It appends "(deleted)" to the cgroup of the process, as is done by the <tt>ps</tt> command.
