The redirects have now been fixed. In addition we have now added a new redirect from the top level URL <tt>http://[address]/</tt> which redirects the user to the GUI.

Instead the contact groups of services were always added to the nagios configuration. As a result no notifications were sent if only contact groups for hosts were defined.
