There were multiple issues: * A python2 to python3 problem: strings can no longer be compared to None, fixed by providing an empty string as default * The inventory function returned a superfluous empty dictionary SUP-6018 Change-Id: I50106ebe301eb78f620ae098ff54e771380b55b8
