[Check_MK Appliance] Check_MK-Appliance Firmware 1.0.4 released

Dear Check_MK-Appliance-Users, we released the version 1.0.4 of the firmware yesterday. This release comes with several small fixes related to the firmware update. You can disable the web configuration now after you had enabled it. Please note that there is a bug in the 1.0.3 firmware which might lead into problems during upload of the firmware update to 1.0.4. You should use SSH to upload the new firmware version instead. Please do it like this: Enable root via SSH on console (local terminal), copy the firmware to the device as "/uploaded_firmware.cfw". Then access the firmware update page in web configuration, there you should see the update confirm dialog to perform the update. Hit "yes". Now the device should reboot and update the device. After the updaet you can disable root access via SSH again. [Check_MK Appliance] Check_MK-Appliance Firmware 1.0.3 released

Dear Check_MK-Appliance-Users, we just released the version 1.0.3 of the firmware. The most important change is that the Check_MK virt1 is now shipped with the VMWare Tools. When you start the Check_MK virtu1 on VMWare virtualization platforms, the tools are automatically installed and started to make some VMWare specific features available and increase the performance of the Check_MK virt1. The release also ships with several smaller improvements in the web configuration and the management of the RAID on Check_MK rack1.
